Student Support

As members of the Simmons School of Social Work (SSW) community, SocialWork@Simmons students receive dedicated support that begins the moment they request information about the program.

During the admissions process, students work with a dedicated Admissions Counselor who is available to answer questions about the program and the application process.

Upon admission to SocialWork@Simmons, students are assigned an advisor who is available to meet face-to-face via the online platform as needed throughout the program.

Upon enrollment in the program, our student support team provides technical assistance and helps students acclimate to our online learning community.

As an SSW student, students have access to Simmons library resources as well as career services.

During the program, students work with the Simmons field placement team to find an appropriate internship site in their own community.

Upon program completion, students are invited to participate in the on-campus graduation ceremony for the Simmons School of Social Work.

After graduation, students join the SSW global alumni network, which connects our graduates around the world.

SocialWork@Simmons students are also encouraged to access the Student Handbook for policies, procedures, and resources.
